What if there was one man–one gorgeous, brilliant, sexy as hell man–who was meant for you?
Yeah, well, there isn’t. Love is a hard slog up a snowy mountain infested with rabid cougars, and meant-to-be love is just a lie. I learned that the hard way when all my romantic dreams went up in smoke, and the boy I loved walked away without looking back.
Or so I thought…
Seven years ago Fate ripped me away from the only girl I’ve ever loved. Now Addie and I are snowed in at a romantic mountain lodge, drinking cocoa around the Valentine’s Day tree, and there’s no way I’m going to let her slip away from me again.
One way or another, I’ll prove to Adeline that we belong together.
She might not believe in love, but I do, and I’m going to use every sexy, wicked weapon at my disposal to convince my girl we’re meant to be.
The best part of trying to win the one who got away? I know exactly what makes her laugh, what makes her melt, and what makes her squirm…
MEANT FOR YOU is a sexy, swoony, true love conquers all Standalone romantic comedy
This is not the first book I have read by this author, it won’t be my last but this book was hard for me with some of the elements and events. It had a good flow as well as the writing. The characters were likable and they had a bit in common.
They meet in New Jersey in Hellmouth. They had both read about it in a book. So they bond over that. They spend a summer together before both of them go off to college. Addie is young and a bit naive in my eye. Though she is very smart and skipped some grades and getting ready to start college. When they meet even though this is their last summer before college Addie is only sixteen. Their relationship needs to be kept a secret because of her parents.
I love how he calls her Einstein, and e is her Dirty Devil. After their fun-loving summer, bonding over horror books he then disappears on her. The bottom falls out. As chance or fate would have it they meet up again seven years later and the attraction, chemistry, passion and love is still there. Nate hasn’t forgotten or stopped wanting Addie. Addie though, I don’t think she really knows what she wants. Ok, that’s not true, she wants more but not sure just how to attain it or if she can. As events take place Nate seems to be in the right place at the right time. There are things that haunt your dreams as well as your reality. Read this book if you want a love conquers all and a second chance romance.
