The power of pleasure…
Gabriel Miller took everything from me. My family. My innocence. My home. The only thing I have left is the determination to get back what’s mine.
He thinks he’s beaten me. He thinks he’s won. What he doesn’t realize is that every pawn has the chance to become a queen.
And the game has only just begun.

THE KNIGHT is book two in the Endgame series from New York Times bestselling author Skye Warren about revenge and seduction in the game of love.
The Knight was a great 5 star read.
Skye Warren has once again pulled me into her world. Avery has left Gabriels and is living in a sleazy hotel with some shady neighbors. She has also found that her house is going up for auction and her money is in escrow until the end of the month. Gabriel pretty much tells her she isn’t going to get it. He can be very hurtful with his words at time towards Avery. Can he really keep her from getting her house?
Oh no, Avery. You’re someone. The toast of the whole effing town. The girl who captivated Gabriel Miller with her pretty little hymen.
As we move forward Avery discovers more shocking secrets that make her question who she can trust. Gabriel exudes power and passion whenever he is around Avery. The connection these two have is off the charts hot. I loved the dominance that Gabriel had as well.
Gabriel could be a jerk but I ended up falling for him. I really liked the secondary characters, they added a great element to the story. Avery was a very strong woman who is trying to find out more about her family history and secrets. I was definitely on the edge of my seat and didn’t want to put the book down until I was done. Skye Warren is one of my top favorite authors and I always look forward to reading her books. This series is definitely another top read for me and I’m really looking forward to “The Castle”.
