Regulators MC Series, Book #3
Loosely attached to Chelsea Camaron’s Hellions Series and Jessie Lane’s Ex Ops Series.
She is the everyday girl next-door.
He is shadowed by regret laced in broken memories.
Dark sins of the past have a way of taking hold of your heart and never letting go.
Paisley Asher is the average woman trying to get by in life. Happy and safe in her bubble of ease, she is not prepared to take on the black pit that is one man’s heart.
Trevor ‘Coal’ Blake has a past covered in black. Tainted. He is a dark soul.
In the moment, it is easy to lose sight of what is going on. Looking back, however, little cues were misread … or were they? He lives with more questions than answers.
Chance encounters bring these two together. Is she the angel to pull him from the depths of his personal hell, or is he destined to remain alone and as black as coal?
Coal is the 3rd book in the Regulators MC series and was a great 5 star read.
You get pulled in right from the beginning when Trevor (Coal) is a teenager. He is delivered heart-stopping news that changes his life and outlook on his relationships or should I say non-relationships with women.
We jump ahead 17 years, Coal is now a member of the Regulators MC with his Green Beret buddies. He meets Paisley when she literally runs into him. There is something about Paisley that is different, she is determined to make it up to Coal.
Nothing is chance. Everything has a purpose and reason.
There is a dark aura around Coal and Paisley want’s to change that. She can feel it whenever she is around him. When she tries to research him on the internet she discovers some interesting things about his high school years. And someone from his past his searching for him.
Trevor “Coal” Blake is a man of many layers.
There is something about Paisley that is pulling Coal in. He has the need to protect her but yet keep her at a safe distance from him. He is not good for her.
Live in the moment, be in the moment, and be thankful for them all.
There is so much more to this great read. Not only do we get the love story but we get some suspense and mystery in a case that the MC is working on and it is a very dark and disturbing case that leaves them in shock at the scenes they find. I loved how it was more than just a romance, it adds so much more to the read. Both authors do a great job of pulling you right in, you won’t want to stop until you’re done. The ending was great and I can’t help but want to see more from Coal and Paisley and the others. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.
