Some love songs are just waiting to be written.
The guitar in his grip revives a childhood promise, but he needs sexy Erin Michaelson as his music teacher. When he sees her on stage using another name — and seducing an entire audience — she brings more back to life than just his music.
A single, sizzling backstage kiss will change both of their lives forever. Chance soon realizes that Erin is not just an itch, she’s an obsession he refuses to live without.
Crash and Burn was a great 5 star read.
Erin is a guitar teacher, waitress and lead singer for her band. She has her sights set on her dreams, however she also has to deal with her little brother who is always getting himself in trouble.
As a little boy, Chance had written a list of promises to his mother that he vowed to complete. Which brings him to the guitar store that Erin works at, he gets her to agree to give him guitar lessons. She seems shy but there is something about Erin that turned Chance on.
She didn’t want to tangle with that kind of player. A man like that could make her heart hurt and her panties wet at the same time. Totally dangerous and way out of her league.
When Chance is out with his brothers they see the band Fourth Strike. When the lead singer starts to talk Chance immediately recognizes that voice. Erin is in her persona of Eva James the tough as nails rockstar and Chance is immediately turned on and wants her badly.
Needless to say things heat up quickly from here. Chance pursues Erin and doesn’t give up on her. They reveal some secrets to each other and find out they have a lot in common. There is a twist that gives everyone a little scare. Chance was also a great support to Erin. I loved his brothers and I’m a little on the fence when it comes to Erin’s brother. That boy has a lot of growing up to do. Amanda Adams does a great job of pulling you in with her writing and you won’t want to put it down until your done. I can’t wait to read more from this series.
