On 9/11, firefighter Nick Fletcher’s world changed forever. He’s unable to rid himself of survivor’s guilt, made worse by the secret he hides from his family and co-workers. Nick’s life is centered around helping burn victims, until he is reunited with the man he’d once loved but pushed away. Now he has a second chance at a love he thought lost forever.
For fashion designer Julian Cornell, appearances mean everything. His love affairs are strictly causal, and the only thing he cares about is making his clothing line a success. A chance encounter with the man he loved long ago has Julian thinking for the first time in years there may be more to life than being seen at the best parties and what designer labels to wear.
When Julian’s world takes an unexpected turn, it’s Nick who helps him regain perspective on what matters most in life. Julian, in turn, helps Nick accept who he is and understand he isn’t responsible for tragedies he couldn’t prevent. Lost love found can be even sweeter the second time around and after all the years apart, both men learn to look beyond the surface to find the men they are inside.
This is the first book of the Breakfast Club series. No these guys are not sitting in detention, but are three best friends who were roommates in college. Now they get together weekly for breakfast. This first story is about Julian, a fashion designer and Nick a firefighter and 9/11 first responder.
Julian and Nick were together in high school. Julian was openly gay and Nick was the popular jock that kept his sexual preferences a secret. Not having the courage to come out, Nick ended things with Julian in the hopes at a “normal life.” After years apart they are brought together through a chance meeting. Both of them have never gotten over one another. Too much has happened over the years. Nick, 9/11 that has left him with physical and emotional scars. Julian a broken heart that he has never gotten over. When they find each other again, they realize that the chemistry is still there, but is it enough? Nick has so much baggage and Julian doesn’t want to risk his heart again especially to the man that shattered it in the first place.
I really enjoyed this first book of The Breakfast Club. The raw emotions and the tragic circumstances of this story make hard to put down. The connection that Nick and Julian have not only with one another, but the family and friends that surround them make this story worth reading. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

A weekend fling in Atlantic City couldn’t be more out of socially shy Zach Cohen’s comfort zone, but a bet with his best friends forces him to put aside the humiliation he’s hidden for years and step away from behind his computer screens and online world. When he meets Sam Stein, despite their spark, Zach expects nothing more than a night of passion and a kiss good-bye. Yet weeks later, he can’t keep the man out of his head.
After a split-second decision with tragic results ends his twenty-year police career at the same time as his relationship falls apart, Sam Stein is drifting through life. At his best friend’s urging, he agrees to a trip to Atlantic City to clear his head. What Sam doesn’t plan on is meeting Zach Cohen, whose sweet nature and honesty has him thinking maybe he could move forward, until Zach leaves him without explanation, reinforcing Sam’s belief that people can’t be trusted.
Well-meaning friends refuse to let Zach and Sam hide from each other, forcing them to realize their weekend was much more than a one-night stand. Before that can happen, Zach must come to terms with his past and stand up for his own independence, while Sam has to learn to take a chance and believe in himself and people again. All bets are off when dreams become reality, and forever doesn’t seem to be long enough.
This is the second book of The Breakfast Club Series. It begins with a bet that Zach must have a fling while attending a conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. To the delight of the readers, Zach meets grumpy retired NYC police officer Sam Stein. The fling leads us on a sweet story where Zach and Sam learn about self worth, forgiveness, and trust.
I loved this story and I think that Zach is my favorite Breakfast Club member. This man is gentle sweetness and he loves his mother. The author takes us to many spots in Brooklyn, New York that I use to go to while growing up there, which makes this book all the more special to me. I am sure that no matter where you are from however, you will enjoy visiting all these places through Felice Stevens beautiful words.
We also get a little better glimpse of Marcus, the third member of The Breakfast Club. I can’t wait to read his story and watch him achieve his happy ever after in Felice Stevens style.

Follow Will & Patrick in this fourth installment of the romantic-comedy serial, Wake Up Married, by best-selling author Leta Blake and newcomer Alice Griffiths!
Will and Patrick have embraced adding hot sexy-times to their fake marriage, but as their emotions deepen, they confront whether or not they want to be more than friends-with-benefits. Freshly free of a restrictive relationship, Will’s not ready for more than exploratory fun. And no matter how Patrick feels about Will, his own difficult past has left him wary of love.
The heat is high (and occasionally kinky) in this episode of the Wake Up Married serial, but Will and Patrick struggle to accept their mutual affection, much less confess it. How long will they fight their feelings?
Episode 4 of 6 in the Wake Up Married serial.
5 Stars!! What is love…
This was a great installment of the Will & Patrick Saga and one where we really get to see inside both of the guys heads. In this episode the guys really start to look at how they are feeling, Will and Patrick are both falling in love; however, they both have some messed up histories to get over first.
Will seems to be the first to understand that he is in love with Patrick but he doesn’t think Patrick will ever return those feelings. Patrick is really good however at making Will feel good and helping Will get over his feelings of shame associated with sex.
“You like everything I do to you.” It’s true. There’s nothing Patrick’s proposed or done that Will hasn’t loved. He loves sex and he loves coming and he’s so grateful that Patrick’s teaching him these things. For a blunder with huge potential consequences, Will’s starting to believe their marriage in Vegas is one of the best mistakes he’s ever made.”
These two have some hot as hell scenes in this episode and I loved them!! Watching Patrick bring Will out of his shell in bed was pretty amazing as Will goes from unsure and ashamed to begging for Patrick to spank him harder!!
“You love this, don’t you?” “Yes. Please, please make it hurt,” Will says, lifting his ass up and begging. “Like this?” Wind whistles and Will jumps as Patrick lands a stinging, hard blow. “Yes!” “Mmm, dirty boy.” Patrick rubs his smarting cheek and then slaps it hard again, jolting Will’s breath away. “That okay? If I’m dirty?” “Hell yeah. Love it. Be filthy with me.”
Will on the other hand helps Patrick face his horrid past. A childhood that was so messed up he actually went to Child Protective Services and turned his Dad in, leaving Patrick to Foster Care. I loved the way Will takes care of Patrick after a terrible day and how a usually stoic Patrick let’s his emotions shine through while playing the Piano.
The authors do an excellent job of writing a captivating take that has some really good symbolism, creativity, a hell-of-a-lot of passion, dirty-talk, witty humor, and two MC who are both just a little lost. I have loved watching these two men transform through the story and cannot wait for the next installment!!

A forbidden romance about pain that binds us together…
Five years ago we lived in the same house. He was the ultimate bad boy.
And my foster brother.
Now he’s back. Tougher, harder, meaner. All of it aimed at me, because I was the one who sent him away. It’s payback time. He wants his pound of flesh, and I am helpless to say no.

Diplomatic marriages between two members of different planets certainly aren’t unheard of—but for Prince Mikos of Tygeria and Col. Ryan Donnelly of Earth, it might just be a fate worse than death. The union is meant to end a devastating war that has lasted for over a hundred and fifty years, but when the female bride intended for the fierce, sexy prince runs away, her handsome brother is substituted instead. Men are for mating as far as the Tygerian prince is concerned, but the colonel also happens to be Mikos’s sworn enemy, not to mention being completely irritating.
Ryan is horrified to learn that the Tygerians not only expect him to take the place of his sister, marry the Bloody Prince of Tygeria, and go to live with him on his mysterious planet, but they also expect him to undergo physical alteration to have the man’s baby! And nobody is taking hell no for an answer. Ryan’s being asked to turn his whole life upside down and the handsome Tygerian gets under his skin like nobody else. But with the fate of the universe at stake, how can he say no? Can the two enemies put aside their differences and focus on making love and not war—not to mention a baby? As a powerful love struggles to take root, can they learn to trust each other and stand together against the forces that are trying to tear them apart?
This was my first, other world book with Alien species. I have read many “shifter” books but not shifter Aliens..I have to admit I almost stopped reading it, but I stuck it out. I think the idea of the story was a good one but it was just a little too far out there for me, plus I really don’t like books that it feels like the author wrote a m/f book then adjusted to m/m – I like my characters well defined and with their own personalities. This book had a lot of sex, a lot of attempted alpha male characterization but not a lot of substance. All we know for sure is there is a planet known as “Tygeria” and The Prince of Tygeria is being wed to an colonel from Earth to form an alliance and stop a 150 year inter galaxy war.
Mikos is The Prince of Tygeria, known as “The Bloody Prince” is to marry The Chief Consul of the Alliances daughter, in an attempt to secure peace between Tygeria and Earth. Mikos and his omak (male mother) have traveled to the Alliance space station where the marriage will take place thus securing the alliance and a mate for the Tigerian Prince. The problems start when the daughter elopes before she can wed the Prince, thus forcing the Consul to find a substitute or forgo the Peace Treaty.
It isn’t a secret that Tygerian men prefer to be with men, relegating women to simple breeders…however, the world has progressed so much that even men can become pregnant with body modifications so women are not even needed for reproduction. So it is perfectly fine with Mikos when the Consul suggests that The Tygerian Prince wed his son Colonel Donnely. Ryan Donnely, on the other hand has always preferred women he has no desire to marry a man nor have his body modified so he can produce heirs. However, when the fate of two worlds rests on his shoulders he agrees, for a trial of one year. Thus the mate of the Tygerian Prince has been found..but it is not a HEA for the couple as trouble seems to follow them and Ryan doesn’t submit to the Princes desires as easy as Mikos wants or requires.
Overall, the story needed more depth for me to rate it higher. It just felt lacking. So yeah, my first and probably my last Alien Love Story!
