“If you can’t remember it, was it ever real at all?”
“How do I fall out of love?”
Cash Bennett enlisted in the Marines the day his boyfriend married someone else, but military life failed to numb the pain. After he got out, he relied on casual sex and the adrenaline rush of pushing his limits to distract himself from the inescapable truth: He’d lost his heart the first time he laid eyes on Robbie Logan, and he’s never going to get it back.
“I want a divorce.”
An accident on Robin Logan’s eighteenth birthday changed his life. He lost his memory but gained a best friend, a woman whose dreams were stolen when their lives collided. At the urging of his homophobic father, Robin married her out of guilt. But now he’s free… and not at all sure he’s got the courage to go after what he’s never admitted to wanting. Or whether he even deserves it.
“I love you. I don’t know how to do anything else.”
Robin doesn’t remember what they once were to each other, and Cash can’t forget the way they’d been. Sometimes, though, life gives you a second chance to do it all over again…
Again is a steamy, standalone gay romance novel with a HEA and no cliffhangers. It is set in the same series-world as “Someday,” Danny and Mace’s story, “Delicious,” Gavin and Ben’s story, and “Falling,” Jeremy and Nick’s story.”
Review: “His heart was like a vinyl record that could only play one piece of music…”
God I think this is my favorite book quote EVER!!!!
Who doesn’t love a great second chance story. Cash and Robbie were perfect. Cash was all bad ass and Robbie was a home body. Two opposites who attracted each other and fell in love in high school until a terrible accident made Robbie forgot everything. Cash tried to get on with his life by being a man whore (his words not mine) but couldn’t forget his first love. He even enlisted so he didn’t pressure Robbie to remember and make his family turn him away. Robbie unfortunately couldn’t remember anything about his past after the accident and winds up marrying his best friend Sarah. Sara is a great supporting character, she knows all about Robbie and loves him but their marriage is based on friendship and yes love but not attraction. They divorce but remain close. Robbie wants to find love and he is just coming around to admitting being gay. Cash and Robbie has a friendship through the 7 years since the accident but Cash couldn’t bring himself to see Robbie. Cash broke by heart because he was so broken when Robbie couldn’t remember their love or time together. Cash wants to move on but can’t. Robbie has always had his heart. Robbie has a crush on Cash but feels he is so out his reach that he is afraid to take the chance of being let down. He does take a chance and boy was I happy he did.
When Robbie starts getting his memory back it is a great thing for both of them. I felt like they were never apart. Their love is strong and the things Cash had done for Robbie was so touching. I cant wait til you read about them and swoon too.
I loved Sierra’s writing and it was great to see some of the other characters from her others books. Though she doesn’t make this part of a series, I would recommend reading her other books to learn about this great group of guys. They are “Someday,” Danny and Mace’s story, “Delicious,” Gavin and Ben’s story, and “Falling,” Jeremy and Nick’s story.
Once in awhile I read a book that makes me think , what would I do in these circumstances this one was it. Pacing was perfect and I loved how we got to know about their relationship before the accident from the emails Cash sent to Robbie even though he never opened them.”
