Jeremy has taken his uncles business and turned it into an empire. Nobody can touch him now. As he tries to win Sierra’s heart, it becomes apparent that even as he has been victorious in the business world, his personal life still needs some work. And now he has found out there is another threat can ruin everything that he has worked so hard to gain.
Forrest knows he doesn’t have long to get to Sierra and the wait is killing him. Hiding away so nobody knows he is alive, he finally finds the break he is looking for but what will it cost him? He is willing to die fighting for the woman he loves but he is not alone in his mission. Now he has to worry that Damon, his best friend and Sierra’s brother doesn’t get hurt in the process.
Anything can happen and lives are at stake. Who will live? Who will die? Who will come out of this more broken than when it started?
Five Amazing Stars! This is the second book in the Taken Series and should most definitely be read in order to fully understand the story. We continue where we left off with Sierra, Forest, and Jeremy’s story. Sierra has been kidnapped for approximately six months now and she feels like there will be no way for her to escape her captor. Sierra is confused as far as her feelings towards her captor. Forest desperately wants to rescue Sierra but he is not sure as far as what he can do. Will Forest be able to rescue Sierra before it’s too late and how will Sierra’s emotional state be? I thoroughly enjoyed this story and read it in one evening. The story is told from all three points of view which gives us greater insight into what the characters were thinking. I felt all of the character’s emotions as I read through the book. The author again writes a well-written story that it is very emotional and it ends in another cliffhanger. I need the third book now please! I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see how the story will go!
