It’s typical of video game programmer Josiah Simmons to be the last one on the plane on the way to the biggest meeting of his career. Though he’s (mostly) coping with his ADHD, he can’t handle another distraction. But he also can’t ignore his rugged seatmate—especially once he learns the military man’s a fan of his game.
Ryan Orson refuses to let his severe injuries pause his career as a navy SEAL. He’s got hours of grueling physical therapy ahead of him, and no time for anything that might get in the way of his return to active duty. But that doesn’t mean he’s above a little first-class flirtation with geeky-cute Josiah.
When a delay strands the pair in St. Louis, they agree to share a hotel room and a night of gaming. Neither expects their new connection to move to the next level in the light of day. Opposites may attract, but is this game over before it’s even begun?
OK, Where to start with this review. I guess that I love opposites attract stories. Especially when one is a Hot marine and the other is a Geeky gamer. Jos we already in the previous books in this series. He has ADHD and takes medication that helps him. He works with the other guys from the gaymer books and they are all friends. On his way to a conference he meets Ryan, a hot marine, when they get to sit together on the flight. They both hit it off as friends who love to game. Thy get stranded due to the weather and when they get off the plane Jos realizes Ryan has lost his legs which freaks him out at first. Ryan walks away but they do met up later when Ryan has a room and Jos doesnt. They room together for a night and hook up. Jos believes this is a one night deal since he is totally opposite of Ryan. Ryan believes the same since he recently broken up ith his boyfriend and Jos isnt his type. They continue to game and talk on the computer and both feel this connection but neither is willing to take a chance. They both go through some problems but see that they are much better together than apart. Each id them fill a need in each other and it doesnt matter that they are total opposites, they fit. The sex scenes are hot and Ryan’s dirty talk makes me fan myself. Annabeth knows how to write about complex characters and neither of these men would be considered normal. Both have issues that they work through and become a team not just individuals. Loveed it and hope more to come.
