Love or hate. Life or death. No inbetween. No compromise. No rules in love and war.
Knight. Party monster. Handsome Savage. Doesn’t do monogamy.
Elliot. Obsessive. Intense. Uncompromising.
Newly single, Knight is done with relationships. All he’s interested in is bringing down The Count, an Internet personality who is tarnishing his family name. An opportunity to crush him comes when the audacious clown shows up at the Kings of Hell MC clubhouse to film for his YouTube channel. But when Knight meets Elliot, the man behind The Count, he no longer knows what to do with him.
Knight has never seen a more pathetic creature than Elliot. He’s also never met anyone who needed him more. Skinny, messed up, and a bucket of trouble as thick as tar, everything Elliot does seems to be a wordless death wish. No matter how much Knight hates Elliot’s alter ego, under the makeup and theatrics hides a fragile young guy with a passion for history, and Knight can’t help but catch Elliot every time he falls.
Elliot has bad taste in men. Always hopelessly attracted to violent brutes, his favorite is a long dead serial killer. But he gets more than he’s bargained for when he seizes an opportunity to meet the man of his dreams. The ghost is manipulative and dangerous, offering Elliot all he’s always wanted, for a price he can’t possibly pay.
Elliot is faced with an impossible choice between two men.
One alive, one dead.
One carnal and honest, one drizzling sweet, poisoned promises into his ear.
One unwilling to commit, the other promising an eternity together.
And Elliot doesn’t settle for half-measures. He craves a love that is all or nothing, passion that will consume him, and desire to burn him alive.
Elliot is ready to either get that, or die trying.
A Fantastic tale that is deliciously dark yet sweetly romantic.
My Dark Knight from K.A. Merikan is book two in the Kings of Hell MC Series and a fantastic story! I was entertained from the start of the book all the way through to the end, just under 500 pages later. To accomplish holding my attention, that long — well you know this story is pretty damn good! The characters in this series are so unique and some other worldly that you can’t help but become addicted to their lives as you read their story.
In this book, we get to see two characters who we “met” if very briefly in book one and now we get in their heads. Knight is VP to the Kings of Hell and he just wants to live his life, party it up, and indulge in all the carnal and forbidden pleasures he can. Commitment? Monogamy? NO. He has been there, done that, and burned the t-shirt. One thing he does love and is very passionate about is family. Both his chosen family, The Kings of Hell, and his blood family, the Mercier’s. So, anyone who messes with either better watch out!
Elliot, poor misunderstood, obsessed, just-wants-love, Elliot. Better known to his “Faneatics” as “The Count” he is a little obsessed with William Fane, Brecon’s own notorious serial killer which we met in book one. You see, Elliot is convinced that Fane was just misunderstood and has been stereotyped and categorized with other serial killers. Fane, according to The Count, really had to love someone to take their life, take a piece of them and keep them with him forever.
“What William Fane had always wanted was a man of his own, and what Elliot craved was to become the apple of someone’s eye, no matter the cost. To for once belong to someone who truly wanted him”.
Twisted? Yes. Slightly romantic way of thinking? Yes. Wrong?
“Inside and out. Body and soul. I want it all. If a man can give me that, I don’t care how many innocent boys he’s murdered.”
Well, that’s to be found out! One thing is for sure though, Elliot loathes Laurent Mercier, the man who killed his idol! He loves nothing more than to smear his name on his YouTube channel — which really pissed off Knight!
When one night at a party at the MC clubhouse, Knight is alerted to an intruder. The last person he expects to encounter is, The Count. Knight also doesn’t expect to have sparks fly between himself and the man under The Count’s persona…no, he never expected that!
“Knight wasn’t just a force of nature. He was a rock, an island of sanity in the wild waters Elliot was forced to navigate.”
From the moment these two meet, they are drawn to each other. As situations unfold during the story, Knight finds himself taking on the roll of a saviour to Elliot. He finds himself enjoying spending time with Elliot. It blows his mind and goes against everything he wants.
“The Count was an untouchable prick with his head up high. Elliot on the other hand was so human, and so deliciously eager to please, Knight loved knowing that in a way he was in fact fucking them both”.
Elliot on the other hand couldn’t be happier than when he is in Knights big, strong arms or his bed. In-fact if he had his way, he would never leave!
“There was something he loved so much about being the vehicle of another man’s pleasure . He got his own arousal from it in turn, but knowing that at the same time his body provided a big, masculine man with something he craved was such a large part of it. He loved the way he could feel the other guy’s dick twitch, throb, or stiffen. For a few short minutes, he was the center of a man’s universe”.
But, do people every get their way when the Kings of Hell are involved? Well, not without a lot of twists and turns, a few demonic forces, a ghost who really needs to be sent to the other side…and some other goodies, making this a story you won’t forget!!
Did I mention the chemistry between these two is hot as F**k?? Well, it is! These authors know how to write deliciously deviant sex that will make your toes curl!
“I don’t want to be eaten. I want to be devoured. Do you see the difference?”
“You’re growing on me like ivy.” Elliot sighed and kissed Knight once more. “I would rather cover you like moss.”
If you can’t already tell, I recommend this book…this series…5 stars! I can’t wait for the next book in this series!!
