Emotion tells us how we feel, but life…life has a way of plunging us in boiling water, burning away our illusions, testing our faith, trying our convictions.
Love floating is a butterfly, but love tested is an anchor.
For Grip and Bristol
Love started at the top of the world
On a Ferris wheel under the stars
But when that love is tested, will they fly or fall?.
“STILL” takes you on a journey filled with laughter, family, grief, and love. I couldn’t get through this book without laughing or crying. The messages are clear and to this day the world has not changed as much as we thought. The author hits on issues we are fighting today in our diverse country and it is a great way to bring through the forefront with words. I loved this book and it made me love Grip more when he was fighting for the people he loves. You will read this book and laugh, cry, grieve, get angry, and learn that there is a such thing as “not dreaming in colors but character”. As Grip says we all need to “dwell in the possibilities”. Grip and Bristol are fighting in a world that is against them because they are different. Kennedy Ryan has brought to the forefront how the world can still see in colors and divide us with their misunderstandings. She makes you realize that we need to learn about the people in this world and not judge to harshly of things we do not know. With all that going on Grip and Bristol make you want the love they share and fight for the people that we love.
