It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress.
I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.”
Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true.
The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there. Because I’ve since found out something else about Mr. Starry-Eyed.
He’s arrogant, cynical, and demanding. I should know. Thanks to a twist of fate, he’s my new boss. But that’s not going to stop me from discovering the story behind his last love letter. A love letter that did not result in a happily ever after.
But that story is nothing compared to the one unfolding between us. It’s getting hotter, sweeter, and more surprising than anything I could have imagined.
But I have no idea how this one is going to end . . .
~~5 F*** It List Stars~~
This story. It was awesome and amazing and such heartfelt. Loved the moment I started reading to the moment I finished it. Hate note was everything want in a book and not all expected. I honestly don’t know what I was expecting but this was so great. Every moment of this book is worth raving about. This duo as I stated did a perfect job and wrote together beautifully to give you a great story. You have all the feels. You can from laughing to such angst and drama.
Charlotte left her fiance because he was a cheating jerk. While trying to sell the wedding dress that has never used, she happens upon a beautiful wedding dress, with a beautiful blue note sewn inside. Then she wonders what happened? Every dress tells a story she says. Now later she is drowning her sorrows and she has an epiphany. She has to find out about the man who wrote such beautiful words.
Charlotte is fun and sassy and flirty. I loved her. She has a heart of gold. Now she has no job, yes no job because she quit because her ex-fiance was her boss.
Reed is a hard, gruff, passionate and even endearing when he wants to be. Oh, and did I mention he is an alpha, protective man, with so much determination not to fall in love or have those attachments. His reason why surprised me and I didn’t see that little twist coming.
Even though these two work together and they don’t want to cross any lines it is hard for them to fight their attraction. The have undeniable chemistry and Charlotte knows it and isn’t afraid to act on it. Convincing Reed is harder/ I loved reading their friendship and attraction grow. I loved how he spied on her and tried to help her with her F*** It list. So when there is a mishap and things change she has a different outlook that put that sour pout on Reed’s face. Then Charlotte grows on him and he makes his own list and she tries to help him s much as he helps her. They have quite a bit in common even if they don’t see it. Their initial meeting had me laughing my behind off.
The people are great and the plot was awesome. I loved Max and the meddling Iris. These two made me smile. The ending was perfect for this couple. I truly loved this book and the authors have never let me down.
